The unit can be closed while the plugs are still attached to the outlets freeing up valuable work-surface space. A rubber flap allows for cables to exit the unit whilst in the closed position. When power outlets or peripherals are required, the unit is simply pulled up out of the work surface using the metal handles and locks in the up position.
When the unit is no longer needed, it can be neatly lowered back down, below the work surface by pressing the lock release button.
